Story
Private Sydney Baker (Service no. 3355) enlisted in Kiama on the 13th November, 1916. He later embarked on HMAT Anchises A68 with the 45th Battalion on the 24 January 1917 arriving in Le Havre, France.
He was wounded in action while in France on 3rd May, 1918.
Sydney returned to Australia in 1919. He embarked from England on the ORITA on the 23rd June, 1919 and arrived in Sydney on the 9th August, 1919.
