Story
Arthur Robinson (Service No 946) was born in Wollongong, NSWaround 1894 and had spent 2 years in the CMF before he enlisted, when he was20 years old. At this time he worked as afarmer and was a single man.
Arthurembarked from Melbourne on HMAT A40 Ceramic with 15th Battalion, F Companyon 22nd December 1914.
He arrived in Egypt and after training was sent to Gallipoli. His was a short war: while serving with the 6th Platoon,B Company at Quinns Post on 9th May 1915he was killed while charging the trenches .
Thre isno known grave for Arthur and he is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial.
