Story
David Roberts (Service No 772) was born in Newcastle, NSW around 1887.
When he enlisted he was 27 years old, single, and working as a miner. David's next of kin on his war records was his brother, Robert Roberts, who lived at Thirroul, NSW
David embarked with his Unit on HMAT A 38 Ulysses, from Melbourne, on 22nd December 1914 with G Company, 13th Battalion.
David's records do not state when he arrived on Gallipoli, but he was killed on 14th August 1915. He has no known grave.
David is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial.
