Story

Albert Loveday (Service No 423) was born in Wollongong about 1893. He was a single 22 year old painter when he enlisted. He embarked on HMAT A60 Aeneas with his unit on 29th June 1915. Albert never saw action because he caught pneumonia on the ship going over. He died and was buried at sea.

Albert is remembered on the Chatby Memorial, Egypt.
