Charles Connors (Service no 6350) was born in Sydney, NSW in 1868.

Charles stated he was single, 44 years of age and a bushman when he enlisted in Wollongong, NSW when he was actually over 50 years of age at the time.

Charles embarked on HMAT A14 - Euripides with the 13th Battalion,  20th Reinforcements on 9 September 1916 and arrived in England on 26 October 1916.  Charles joined the 13th Battalion in the field on 21 July 1917 and saw service on the Western Front.

Charles was admitted to hospital soon after and was deemed unfit for active service due to his being 52 years of age.

Charles was repatriated to Australia in January 1918 and medically discharged on 21 February 1918.
