Leslie Williams (Service No 3256) was born in Bulli, N.S.W., around 1892.

At enlistment in Cairns, Qld, he was 24 years old, single and worked as a farmer.

Leslie embarked on HMAT A42 Boorarah, from Melbourne, Victoria, with the 2nd Light Horse Regiment, 26th Reinforcements, on 10th May 1917. He arrived in Egypt on 20th June 1917 and saw service in Egypt and the Middle East. Leslie was posted to the 37th Australian Army Service Corps Company. He was returned to Australia in August 1919 and discharged on 22nd September 1919.

In 1921, he married Mary Mortimer.

Leslie died in Queensland sometime before 1966.
