Thomas Musgrove (Service no 993/86028) was born in Wollongong, NSW.

At the time of enlistment Thomas was single, 30 years of age and employed as a motor mechanic. 

Thomas embarked on RMS Omrah with Australian Flying Corp, No 4 Squadron, A Flight on 17 January 1917.  He arrived in England on 27 March 1917 but was admitted to hospital with Pleurisy soon after and deemed unfit for active service.

Thomas was returned to Australia in December 1917 and medically discharged on 1 August 1918.

Thomas re-enlisted on 17 June 1919 for special Australian Imperial Force service and embarked as an Escort on 9 July 1919. 

Thomas returned to Australia in January 1920 and was medically discharged on 17 March 1920.

Thomas lived in Oak Flats after the War and died in Wollongong hospital in 1952.

Thomas is buried in Bulli Cemetery.

Thomas's sister Nurse Pearl Musgrave also served.
