Peter McGuigan (Service No 1968), was born in Bellambi, N.S.W.

At enlistment, he was single, 21 years old, worked as a farmer and lived in Kyogle, N.S.W.

Peter embarked on HMAT A55 Kyarra, with 25th Battalion, 3rd Reinforcement, on 16th August 1915. He arrived in Egypt, joining the battalion at Gallipoli, Turkey, on 30th October 1915.

On 19th March 1916, Peter arrived in France, where he saw service on the Western Front. He transferred to Army Service Corps, 15th Company, as a driver. Peter returned to Australia in April 1919, and was discharged, on 19th July 1919.

Peter did not marry.

Peter died in Kyogle, N.S.W., in 1981.

His twin brother, John McGuigan (Service No 1066), also served.
