William Kelly (Service no 3766) was born in Dapto, NSW in 1895.

William married Mildred Martin in 1915.

 At the time of enlistment William was married, 20 years of age, employed as a riggers labourer and had previously served in the Militia.   

He embarked on RMS Mooltan with the 1st Battalion, 12th Reinforcements on 11 December 1915.   William arrived in Egypt and went to France with the 1st Battalion on 28 March 1916.  He saw service on the Western Front with 1st Battalion and has no wounding recorded on file.

William returned to Australia in April 1919 and was discharged on 5 August 1919.

William died in 1969.

His brother John also served.
