Amedio Joseph Ferrario (Service No 7725), was born in Tamworth, N.S.W.

In 1913 he married Ada Payne.

When he enlisted, in Kiama, N.S.W., he was 32 years old, worked as a coke worker, and lived in Corrimal, N.S.W.

On 28th February 1918, he embarked on HMAT A71 Nestor, with 3rd Battalion, 26th Reinforcement. He arrived in England, on 20th April 1918, and did not see active service.

On 17th January 1919, he was transferred to the Australian Army Medical Corps, and on 1st May 1919, he was promoted to Corporal.

He was returned to Australia as nursing staff, in October 1919, and discharged on 24th December 1919.

Amedio and Ada had three children.

Amedio died in hospital in 1929, and is buried in Rookwood Cemetery, Rookwood, N.S.W.
