William Rixon (Service No 513) was a single 23 year old telegraphist from Bulli at the time of his enlistment.

William embarked on HMAT A14 Euripides with C Company, 3rd Battalion on 20th October, 1914. William arrived in Egypt in December, 1914 and underwent training until he sailed for Gallipoli.

William arrived on Gallipoli on 25th, April and while he survived the early fighting, he was killed in action sometime between the 6th and 13th June, 1915.

William has no grave and is commemorated on the Lone Pie Memorial.
