Claude Sutton (Service No 67712) was a single 19 year old farmer from Smiths Hill, Wollongong NSW when he enlisted.

He embarked on HMAT A7 Medic on 2nd November 1918 with N S W reinforcements. The war ended while he was at sea and the ship was returned to Australia. He was discharged on 23rd December 1918.

He is commemorated on the Wollongong Congregational Church Roll of Honour.
