Patrick Hill Condon
Patrick Condon was a single 31 year old labourer, Living in Wollongong, NSW when he enlisted. He was working with his father at the time. He was a musician who played the piano, organ and xylaphone. He embarked on HMAT A72 Beltana with 23rd Reinforcements, 13th Battalion on 25th November 1916.
After training in England he joined 13th Battalion in France on 10th June 1917. Patrick was killed in action and has no known grave. He is remembered on the Menin Gate Memorial in Ypres Belgium and on his parents grave in Wollongong Cemetery.
