Private Arthur Green (Service no. 3066) was born in Mount Kembla circa 1883.

At the time of enlistment he stated his occupation as a lampman and timekeeper. He embarked on HMAT A68 Anchises with 7th Reinforcements, 33rd Battalion on 24th January, 1917. He served on the Western Front but on 30th March, 1918 he was wounded in action. He received a gunshot wound to the head.

He was returned to Australia in July 1919 and discharged on 18th December, 1919.

He married at some point because his headstone in Bulli Cemetery names his wife as Olivia Lily.
