Edwin Selby Stephenson (Service No 1392) was born in Goulburn, N.S.W., around 1889.

At enlistment he was 26 years old, married, worked as a carter and lived in Sydney, N.S.W. Edwin embarked on HMAT A67 Orsova, with the Remount Section, 25th Squadron, on 10th November 1915. He saw service in Egypt and returned to Australia in May 1916. Edwin was discharged on 17th June 1916 due to the unit being disbanded.

In 1913, he had married Eileen Parker, and they had 2 children.

Edwin's death notice states he died from an accident but no detail is available.

He is commemorated for his service on the Wesley Mission Roll of Honour, Wollongong, along with his brothers, Roy Stephenson (Service No 3119) and Frederick Stephenson (Service No 3118).
