Alfred Christian Bramsen (Service No 6016) was born in Dapto, N.S.W.

He enlisted in the Army in 1916 stating he was 18 years old, single and worked as a machinist. Alfred was discharged soon after, medically unfit due to asthma.

Alfred then enlisted in the Royal Australian Navy, but was invalided on 4th December 1918 due to asthma.

On 11th August 1923, Alfred married Daisy Peckham in Corrimal, N.S.W.

Alfred died in Bulli, N.S.W., in 1960.

He is commemorated for his service on the Corrimal-Bellambi Roll of Honour.

Alfred's brother, Albert Bramsen (Service No 5974), also served.
