Robert Francis McIntyre (Service No 4710), was born in Cooma, N.S.W., in 1894.

At enlistment, he was single, 21 years old and worked as a farmer.

Robert embarked on HMAT A40 Ceramic, with 18th Battalion, 12th Reinforcement, on 14th April 1916. He arrived in England, and joined the 18th Battalion in France, on 23rd September 1916. Robert saw service on the Western Front and has no wounding on file. He was returned to Australia in August 1919, and discharged on 15th November 1919.

Robert died in Casino, N.S.W., in 1965.

Robert is commemorated for his service on the Corrimal Public School Roll of Honour, along with his brothers, Alexander McIntyre (Service No 1596) and Desmond McIntyre (Service No 4403).
