Frederick Bubear
Frederick Bubear (Service No 1913) was born in Kennford, England.
At the time of enlistment Frederick was a married, 32 years of age, employed as a dairy farmer and resided in Coledale, NSW. Prior to coming to Australia he enlisted in the Royal Marines Light Infantry in Plymouth, England on 10 October 1901.
In 1912, Frederick married Ruby Skinner in Sydney, NSW but she died in 1915.
On 17 November 1915 he married Ivy Bradley.
On 29 December 1915, Frederick was made a special constable with NSW Police at Coledale, NSW.
On 15 July 1919, Frederick joined his brother, George Bubear (Service No 1912) aboard the SS Melusia for service in Rabaul, New Guinea with the Australian Naval and Military Expeditionary Force. He was discharged on 26 January 1920.
Frederick and Ivy were divorced in 1925 and he died in 1935.
