Harry Brown (Service No 21315) was born in Bulli, NSW in 1892.  The family moved to the Tweed River area, northern NSW some time after Harry was born.

At enlistment Harry was single, 24 years old and worked as a farmer; he had served 3 years with the Cadets.  Harry enlisted in Brisbane with his brother Victor Brown (Service No 21316) on the same day.

Harry embarked from Sydney on HMAT A8 Argyllshire with 9th Field Artillery Brigade, Brigade Ammunition Column on 11th May 1916.  He arrived in England on 10th July 1916 and was sent to France on 29th December 1916 where he joined 12th Field Artillery on 4th February 1917.  On 18th April 1917 he was admitted to hospital sick.

Harry was eventually returned to Australia in May 1918 and discharged medically unfit due to sciatica of his right knee.

He died in Brisbane in 1967.
