Details: 

John Harrison (Service no 22291) was born in Deniliquin, NSW.  At the time of enlistment he was single, 23 years of age, and a student at Sydney University.   He was a member of the University Rifle Club and listed his father Reverend Harrison at the Manse, Wollongong, NSW as next of kin.

John embarked on HMAT A34 - Persic with the Engineering Field Company General Reinforcements on 21 March 1918. 

John had served as an instructor in Australia and was promoted to Corporal on 1 August 1917 and Sergeant the day he embarked.  John arrived in England on 24 May 1918 and served in England as an instructor until he was sent to France on 28 November 1918.

John returned to Australia in July 1919 and was discharged on 7 November 1919.

On 27 December 1920 he married Edith Beauchamp.

John died in 1965.
