Eric Hylton Glasson (Service No 66208),  was born in Kiama, N.S.W.

On 11th November 1908, he married Martha Blackwell, and they went to the Soloman Islands, where Eric worked. He returned to Australia in 1917, and enlisted. 

At enlistment, Eric was 31 years old and worked as a station hand. On 28th November 1917, he was involved in an altercation with a native, which resulted in the death of the native. Eric was interviewed whilst in Liverpool Camp, and was charged with murder. He was aquitted in August 1918.

Eric embarked on SS Zealandia from Melbourne, VIC, on 5th October 1918. He disembarked at Albany, W.A., on 11th October 1918, with pneumonia, and was discharged soon after.

Eric died in Sydney, N.S.W., in 1949.
