Thomas Henry Marshall (Service No 7537), was born in Dover, England.

Thomas married Elizabeth Thomas, in Wales, in 1893 and the couple had 4 children.

At enlistment, he was 46 years old,  worked as a miner and lived in Bulli, N.S.W. He claimed to be 43 years old.

Thomas embarked on HMAT A68 Anchises, with 1917 Reinforcements, on 8th August 1917. He arrived in England on 2nd October 1917, and joined the Tunnellers in France, on 15th November 1917.

On 6th January 1918, Thomas was admitted to hospital, due to sickness. He was returned to Australia in May 1918, and discharged medically unfit, due to a prolapse rectum, on 29th October 1918.
