Roland Davis (Service no 2901) was born in Wollongong, NSW in 1899.

When Roland enlisted in Wollongong he was single, 18 years of age and employed as a labourer.

Roland embarked on HMAT A42 - Boorara from Melbourne, Victoria with the Camel Corps, January 1917 Reinforcements on 10 May 1917.

Roland arrived in Egypt on 20 June 1917 and saw service in Egypt and the Middle East.

On 1 July 1918 Roland was transferred to 14th Light Horse.

Roland returned to Australia in July 1919 and discharged on 28 September 1919.

Roland died in Inverell, NSW in 1941.
