Clifford Case (Service No 18852) was born in Walcha, N.S.W. in 1888.

At enlistment Clifford was single, 28 years old, was employed as a fireman and lived at Clifton, N.S.W.

He embarked from Sydney on HM T A8 Argyllshire with 7th Field Artillery Brigade, 27th Battery on 11th May 1916.  He arrived in England on 10th July 1916 and was posted to 3rd Divisional Ammunition Column in France on 10th March 1917.

Clifford was posted to 5th Division Ammunition Column on 24th August 1917. He served on the Western Front and was returned to Australia in July 1919. 

He left his ship at Capetown, South Africa on 29th July 1919 with 30 days leave granted.  While in Capetown Clifford married then embarked for Australia with his wife on 28th August 1919.

Clifford died in Ryde in 1969.
