Henry Lenthall (Service No 19315) was born in Sydney around 1892.  In 1914 he had married Annie Collins.

At enlistment Henry he was 23 years old, worked as a teamster and lived at Helensburgh, NSW.   He embarked from Sydney on HMAT A8 Argyllshire with Field Artillery Brigade 7, Ammunition Column on 11th May 1916.

Henry was posted to 3rd Division Ammunition Column on 1st September 1916 and joined the troops in France on 24th November 1916 and saw service on the Western Front.

On 26th April 1918 he was transferred to 8th Field Artillery Brigade.

Henry was returned to Australia in May 1919 and discharged on 19th August 1919.

Henry returned to Helensburgh and raised four children with Annie.
