Frank Whitehead (Service No 430) was a single and employed as a foreman in Port Kembla.

Frank embarked on HMAT A35 - Berrima with Australian Naval and Military Expeditionary Force, C Company on 19th August 1914. He served in Rabaul, Papua New Guinea and was discharged on 4 March 1915.

Frank was discharged from the Australian Naval and Military Expeditionary Force at the end of his enlistment period and travelled to England.

Frank enlisted in 21st regiment The Kings Regiment Liverpool on 10th February 1916 but was discharged medically unfit on 11th April 1916.
