Francis Jeremiah Westwood (Service No 19157), was single, 27 years old, worked as a brickmaker, served in the CMF and lived in Woonona, N.S.W.

Francis embarked on HMAT A8 Argyllshire, with Field Artillery Brigade 7, 28th Battery, on 11th May 1916. He arrived in England on 10th July 1916, and served in England and France as a driver, until he returned to Australia, in March 1920. He was discharged on 5th August 1920.

In 1922, he married Eileen Sinclair, in Wollongong, N.S.W., and they had one son. In 1928, the marriage ended and Francis remarried in 1943.

On 13th October 1939, Francis enlisted in the CMF, and served in Australia until his discharge, on 7th September 1946.

Francis died in Concord Hospital, N.S.W.
