Henry Willoughby (Service No 10005) was born in Braidwood, N.S.W. in 1897.

At enlistment Henry was single, 18 years old, worked as a carter, and lived at Bulli, N.S.W.  He embarked from Sydney on HMAT A35 Berrima with 13th Reinforcements, 1st Field Artillery Brigade, on 17th December 1915.

After spending some time in Egypt he arrived in France on 7th April 1916 and saw service on the Western Front.

On 12th April 1919 Henry was returned to Australia and was discharged on 29th July 1919.

On 30th April 1923 he married Nellie Jones at Campsie, N.S.W. and they raised 5 children.

Henry died at Rylstone in 1975.
