Private Dallas Green (Service no. 2192) was born at Ermington, NSW circa 1893. He enlisted as Frank Green a single 22 year old labourer living in Wollongong.

Dallas embarked on HMAT A70 Ballarat from Melbourne on 18th February, 1916 with 3rd Reinforcements 31st Battalion. He saw service on the Western Front but was wounded at Fromelle in the days before the battle on the 17th July, 1916. He was evacuated to 1st Casualty Clearing Station for treatment but died the next day.

Private Green is buried in Estaires Communal Cemetery France, Plot III, Row F, Grave 18.
